This course introduces students to programming and the Python language. Core programming concepts include data structures, conditionals, loops, variables, and functions. After mastering the fundamentals and graduating, you’ll be prepared to take the Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer certification exam (PCEP). This course is a great prerequisite before advancing to more sophisticated programming classes.

What to Expect After Graduation
Graduates of the program are prepared to take the Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer Certification. After obtaining certification, graduates may gain entry-level programming or software development positions in a wide variety of industries.

Eligibility Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
Pass a background check
Pass all required assessments
Note: All students must attend a mandatory orientation before the first day of class.
